Unlimited Systems implemented the fourth billing system in a single year at this community medical oncology practice. Our team worked to promote successful adoption of the g4 Centricity platform by the Andrews and Patel team to stabilize billing operations. We worked alongside registration and billing teams at Andrews and Patel to ensure that the new processes worked well in their clinics and assisted in the transition to a new EMR, including interface configuration, testing, and deployment.
Unlimited Systems helped SJC integrate seven facilities across two states, streamlining the registration and billing processes for their oncology service line. Project highlights included the deployment of complex registration integration with Meditech HIS, merging and integrating discrete EMR databases, streamlining activity capture and splitting charges to multiple claim production platforms, and leading efforts to improve oncology pharmacy workflow and billing. Unlimited Systems was also able to facilitate a multifaceted Professional Service Agreement through private practice and health system EMR congruency. This solution encompassed the continuum of patient care, from patient creation at referral to physician chemotherapy orders and, ultimately, patient infusion and follow-up.
Community Cancer Center, a community-based radiation oncology practice, moved to our oncology-specific billing platform in 2014. The Community Cancer Center billing team activated our oncology-specific charge editing tool and claims engine, which has helped them ensure that the high-value radiation oncology services they render are as correct and payable as possible prior to claim filing. In addition, our team assisted Community Cancer in improving registration processes, increasing their electronic remittance processing and denial management, and providing custom reports to executive administration for increased visibility to revenue management.
